Construction of the nursing wing in 1954.
Ellora built in 1908, was designed by well-known Victoria architect Samuel Maclure. The first occupants of this home were Major Guy Mortimer Audain and Sarah Byrd Dunsmuir. The house and grounds was acquired by Wayside House in 1955, and it was heritage-designated in 1994.
